Compassionate Guidence on Your Journey Toward Healing
Meet Laurie Loveland
Mental Health Therapist
Laurie Loveland is a compassionate mental health therapist bringing nearly a decade of counseling experience along with several years as a Registered Nurse specializing in OBGYN care. Her background in both physical and mental healthcare gives her a deeply holistic understanding of how trauma, stress, relationships, and life experiences impact overall wellbeing.
Laurie specializes in trauma therapy and is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and IFS (Internal Family Systems), evidencebased therapeutic approaches that help clients process trauma, foster selfunderstanding, and create lasting emotional healing and change. She works with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm, helping clients reconnect with their strengths and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. She earned her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Utah and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Brigham Young University.
Therapy With Heart
Her Approach
Laurie considers it a profound privilege to sit with people in their most vulnerable moments — to earn their trust, help them feel truly seen and heard, and walk alongside them on the path toward healing and growth.
Her approach to therapy is warm, thoughtful, and free of judgment. She strives to create a safe space where clarity can emerge, where clients can better understand their experiences, manage anxious or depressive thoughts more effectively, heal from painful experiences, and develop healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges. Laurie believes meaningful and lasting change becomes possible when people feel supported, understood, and empowered to become more fully themselves.
